This year the Office of the City Clerk launched an archival resources page, allowing researchers greater access to Chicago's digitized municipal records including a new grant-funded City Council Audio Recordings collection which includes over 40 years of Chicago City Council meeting recordings, with text files, made between 1970 and 2012. Other newly accessible resources include digitized annual indexes to the Journal of the Proceedings. Additionally, a new municipal records subject guide hosted on the Chicago Collections Consortium streamlines the process of searching for Chicago's municipal records across many local repositories.
